Today, we will cover basic key features as well as best practices when working with children, teens and adults.

VLY stands for very young learners, we learned that the most basic rule with kids is that things will go wrong and you should just roll with the punches if they do. If you are doing a demo and it fails, and the kids start laughing, don’t panic, just make a joke about it and move on. Remember, you are always in charge

Teens can be very judgmental, they often feel that everyone is coming down on them and judging them, they feel too structured and too controlled by the adult system in place around them. Lots of teens feel the desire to break out, to do their own thing. A great key to working with adolescents is giving them the chance to talk about what they like and make them focus in topics that they feel related to.

There are many challenges to working with adult learners, but showing them the practical use of what we are teaching them is the best way to enhance their intellectual development. There are many considerations to think about when we are developing and delivering instruction to adult learners to ensure their attention spam, it is better develop activities step by step with them.
