Puppy Perry meets Mike the Mole

Today’s agenda is to do a lesson plan based on Tomlinson’s sample lessons. The teacher grouped us up and gave to each group a book of Puppy Perry series. Since everyone agreed with Tomlinson’s ideas about using poems in a language class, today, we are going to follow Tomlinson’s sample lessons.

20 minutes to finish the 4-phases of the lesson sample. After the time passed, we had to swap; everyone had a new group with different people. Each member of this new group has share the lesson plan made with the old group. The objective of this exercise is to analyze some else’s lesson plan, discuss it and try to make it better. I noticed that everyone in the classroom was using a very polite vocabulary and accent, me included. I liked that very much, it is like the first time that we treat each other like real colleagues. It was a nice feeling!
